CHORISTRY IN CONCERT

Till I END MY SONG

14/4/2018

SACRED HEART CHURCH, CARLTON
and ST LEONARD'S UNITING CHURCH, BRIGHTON

Choristry’s first concert of 2018 is a celebration of life, rallying against the idea of death, but not necessarily the idea of dying.
Fauré’s divine Requiem is noted for its calm, serene and peaceful outlook, and distills some of the composer’s most beautiful melodies.

Walker’s Last Verses represents the last poems – or intended last poems – from some of English literature’s greatest writers. They are at times resigned, earnest and heartfelt, at others achingly poignant and hauntingly beautiful.

Choristry is delighted to be joined by the Bayside Chamber Orchestra, soprano Gabriella Moxey and baritone Nick Dinopoulos to present these two beautiful works in performances at two stunning venues: Carlton’s Sacred Heart Church and St Leonard’s Uniting Church in Brighton.
